Evolution is staffed with a very capable, talented, and respected
group of individuals. Each member of the staff brings to the table
a unique talent and area of expertise. Without this dedicated group,
Evolution Winter Guard would not be the organization that they are
today. Thank You.
I
grew up in a small town in North Carolina by the name
of Mt. Airy. I have been involved in the color guard
activity (marching and teaching) for 20 years. I started
my marching career with my High School Marching Band
('87 - '92)- The North Surry Greyhounds - and finished
with Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps ('91).
I also have a theater and Chorus background ('90 - '97) and
have been in numerous productions such as "Hello, Dolly",
"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum",
"South Pacific","The King and I", "From
Britan to Broadway", and "The Pirates of Penzance"
to name a few.
After
graduating from the International Air Academy with a degree
in Travel and Tourism, I packed my bags and moved to Pittsburgh
then to Chicago while working as a Flight Attendant for United
Airlines.
My teaching
experience includes Mt. Airy High School, Ragsdale High School,
Naperville Central High School, Lockport High School, and
Waterford Union High School to name a few. I started teaching
with Evolution in 2001 and became the A Guard designer for
the 2004 winter season. From 2005-2007, I was Co-Designer
for the Evolution B Guard. For the 2008 season, I will be
returning as the EYO A Guard designer.
I am currently
persuing my Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design with a focus
on Web Design.
